Agility Duo Head For World Championships 4th August 2009
AGILITY duo Jackie and Alan Gardner are celebrating after qualifying for the Agility World Championships in Austria.

Based at Tamworth, Jackie and Alan have six dogs and compete at the highest level of competitions all over the country but they were both delighted with their recent qualification.

Jackie and Alan are supported by PetSpec, well known for their range of supplements for dogs.

Alan has qualified Jude for the championships and Jackie will be taking Tom to Austria in September.

This will be Jude’s third consecutive appearance for Great Britain at the World Championships but it is a first for Jackie and Tom.

Said Alan: “We believe this is the first time a husband and wife have been on the team in the same year.

“We are both thrilled as this is the highest achievement in agility competitions and we will be competing against the finest dogs in the world.  

“Just to be on team GB you need to beat the best dogs in the UK which is a tough qualification process in the first place,” he added.
