Vitality Plus Makes All The Difference
29th October 2009
I am writing in praise of your PetSpec Vitality Plus product which I have been giving to my Border Collie since June. I would like to tell you a bit of his history.
Fable has a genetic condition called ‘Mega Oesophagus’ which results in him not always being able to swallow properly and always having a very poor appetite.
I was warned by Cambridge University Veterinary Hospital that due to this he could inhale food or water which would result in pneumonia.
Unfortunately this happened in June of this year and resulted in him being admitted to the vet and put on a nasal gastric tube and IV antibiotics.
The prognosis was not good and he was not expected to survive. After four days at the vets he came home weighing little more than 13kg which as you will appreciate is very light for a Collie albeit he is a small one.
I am in close contact with Claire Stewart from Animal Magic in Gloucester and at her suggestion I began to give him Vitality Plus.
Within a short space of time his appetite had improved and his coat which had always been very coarse started to be much softer, thicker and have a good shine.
After about 12 weeks I returned to the vet to get him weighed as the difference in him was amazing, his weight at this time was 15.65kg.
Fable has never been 15kg in his life and I was delighted as so many people have commented on how well he looks.
Fable has always been a lively dog even when he has obviously not too well, since having Vitality Plus he is even more lively and willing to work which he proved by winning a Novice class in Obedience at the end of August.
As you can imagine I was so delighted having nearly lost him in June to winning a class 12 weeks later.
I have not changed anything else in his diet so I can only put his amazing change down to your product.
I am very careful about what I feed Fable and when but I am more than happy to continue feeding Vitality Plus to him.
Thank you for creating a product which has had such a dramatic effect on my precious boy.
